国外犬繁育者的九条戒律

1.Theonlyreasontobebreedingpurebreddogsistopreservethebestqualitiesofthebreed.Breedingtosupplyanymarketisnotajustification.

繁殖纯种狗的唯一理由：是维护该纯种狗的品质，并不是为了市场需求。

2.Youneedtodoallofyourbreedingwiththebestinterestsofthebreedinmind.Neveryourpocketbook

若要繁殖狗狗，繁殖者自己要先建以概念：你喜欢的是繁殖狗，并不是为了钱。

3.Forthisyouneedtobeaseriousstudentofthebreedanddevoteyearsofyourlifetoit.No"inoneday,outtheother".

为了繁殖，你必须要全心的付出若甘年的心力。不可以毫无准备，就开始进行。

4.Asabeginneryouneedtoengrossyourselfinthebreedasmuchaspossibleandideallyfindasuitablementor.

在身为繁殖者的初期，你要尽量能全神贯注在繁殖方面。另外，最好是能够找到一位贤明的繁殖者来指导你。

5.Inordertobeaseriousbreeder,youmustshowandcompete.

要成为一位认真的繁殖者，你必须主动的参加狗展、以及各项的竞赛。

6.Youneedtokeeptrackofallpuppiesyouproduce,whetherpetorshow,toknowhowyourbreedingprogramisworking.

每一个卖出去的小狗，你都必须要有联络方法来找到这些小狗。不论宠物用途，或者是参展，这些都是让你知道，你的繁殖计划如何进行。

7.Allshowpuppiesneedtogoonacontractthatwillnotallowbreedingunlessthedoglivesuptothequalityintendedandpassesallhealthchecksandcertificationnecessaryforthatbreed.Ifaprospectivebreederdoesnotwanttodothis,thenIamsorrybuttheywillhavetomesswithsomeoneelse'sdogsnotmine!!

所有的狗展上的幼犬需要建立不会用在繁殖用途的合约，除非这只狗的品质跟健康合格，而且符合品种条件。若是这位买主并不想要签下这个合约，那我只能说很遗憾！他可以混到别人的狗，但不是我的狗。

8.Everybreederowestothebreedandtothemselvestobeinvolvedwithrescue.

所有的繁殖者要有责任成为好的狗繁殖者，并有责任参予维系保持血统纯正(不要使你所参与繁殖的纯种狗从地球上消失）

9.Everybreedershouldbepreparedtotakeanydogbackforwhateverreason.Iftheydonothavethespace,thentheyneedtobepreparedtomakeotherarrangements.Buttakebacktheymust!

每一位繁殖者都需要有心理准备，那就是买主可能会退还小狗。若是繁殖者没有空间饲养，必须要马上有所安排，但是他们一定要接受退还。
